About the event
The 300 Project
The 300 Project is a community-led golf fundraiser organized by Thomas Reinders in honour of his late father, Ed Reinders, who lived with ALS for two and a half years.
Even after ALS had changed so much, Ed still found a way to enjoy another round of golf with his best friend. That moment, and the determination behind it, became the inspiration for this challenge.
On August 25, Thomas will attempt to hit as many drives as possible beyond 300 yards. Each swing will celebrate his father’s strength while raising awareness and support for other people and families affected by ALS.
Community members can support The 300 Project through a donation, a pledge for each qualifying drive, sponsorship, or by sharing the event with others. Every action helps carry Ed’s story forward and strengthen the ALS community.
