40 Years of Hope:
Building the Future

Logo - White.png

Honouring our past. Inspiring tomorrow.

In 2027, the ALS Society of New Brunswick & Nova Scotia will celebrate 40 years of care, support, advocacy, and community for people living with ALS and their families.

Why This Anniversary Matters

Since 1987, our organization has supported people living with ALS and their families through care, equipment, advocacy, awareness and connection.

For many families, that support has meant more time at home, more comfort, more dignity, and more moments with the people they love.

As we look towards our 40th Anniversary, we are celebrating the people who helped build this Society while inviting our community to help shape what comes next.

Honouring People Behind Our Story

We are inviting families, friends, clients, volunteers, donors, and supporters to share photos of loved ones who have been connected to the ALS Society over the past 40 years.

Although this project is called 40 Faces, we welcome any and all submissions. Every photo helps tell the story of our community

Stories for 40 Years

We will collect and share stories from people living with ALS, families, caregivers, volunteers, donors, and community members who have helped shape 40 years of support.

Each story helps honour the strength, care, and connection within our ALS community.

A Digital Gallery of Care & Connection

As stories and photos are collected, we will begin building a digital gallery to honour the people who have shaped our community. This gallery will grow throughout the campaign and will help preserve the memories, stories, and faces behind 40 years of care.
